Events
One of the best things about being a community bank is hosting and being part of what’s happening in the neighborhoods we serve. We routinely host events throughout Hampshire and Franklin county.
Hunger Action Month with Food Bank of Western Massachusetts
Tuesday, September 1, 2026 | 8:30 AM – Wednesday, September 30, 2026 | 4:00 PM
We are pleased to partner with the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and Feeding America for Hunger Action Month. Throughout the month of September, all ten Co-op branches will serve as food collection sites with donations being dispersed to local food pantries. Additionally, the Co-op will be making a monetary contribution of $25 to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts for every new checking account that is opened and funded online or in person at the Co-op during Hunger Action Month.
Each branch will also be taking action to raise awareness about food insecurity by creating sculptures from donated food items, giving employees an opportunity to use creative teamwork to help spread the message.
