Teeing Off for a Better Tomorrow

We were thrilled to sponsor The Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce’s 22nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament, and our team was eager to get out there and lend a hand! Jen Gallagher helped coordinate the fun, while Jay Seyler, Grace Gillam, and Melissa Conrad kept golfers fueled at the snack tent. Courtney Huxley and Jackie Charron served up scoops of Herrell’s vanilla and burnt sugar ice cream out on the course. This year, a portion of the Tournament’s proceeds went to the Belchertown Education Foundation (BEF), which supports Belchertown public schools in providing an enriching educational experience that amplifies the academic, artistic, and athletic pursuits of Belchertown’s students. In addition, the Chamber partnered with Cooley Dickinson Health Care, awarding four $1,000 scholarships to four deserving seniors from Amherst Regional, Hopkins Academy, Belchertown High School, and Frontier Regional School pursuing business and/or healthcare-related studies, in an institution of higher education.
