Giving Tuesday: Celebrating the Community Partners Who Make a Difference

Giving Tuesday is a day that reminds us how powerful generosity can be. It is a global celebration, but the impact is felt right here at home through the local organizations that strengthen our communities every day. This year, we are proud to highlight a few of the partners we have had the honor to work with and support.

Groups like Rachel’s Table are helping address food security by gleaning and distributing fresh produce to local food pantries. Our team has joined them in the fields to bring healthy food to neighbors who need it most. We have also spent time with Franklin County Community Meals, Manna Community Kitchen, and Amherst Survival Center, lending a hand with meal preparation and serving community members with care and dignity.

Affordable housing continues to be a top priority in our region. Our partnership with Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity has allowed us to support affordable homes through both financial contributions and hands-on volunteering. These builds bring people together and give families a foundation they can count on.

We are also committed to supporting financial stability and economic empowerment. Through our collaboration with Community Action Pioneer Valley, we help support their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, which provides free tax preparation for qualifying households. This service helps families keep more of what they earn and access valuable tax credits that can make a meaningful difference in their budgets.

We believe in supporting children and young people through education and advocacy. Our involvement with the Children’s Advocacy Center, Junior Achievement, Friends of Children, Girls on the Run, and school-based arts and enrichment projects reflects our commitment to helping kids feel supported, empowered, and ready to thrive.

Throughout the year, we have continued to work with organizations like CISA, United Way of Franklin & Hampshire Counties, USO, and many other groups that keep our communities strong, connected, and moving forward. Their work inspires us, and we are grateful to play even a small role in helping them continue their missions.
